Dark Circles &
Puffy Eyes

Dark circles manifest as noticeable darkening of the skin under the eyes, typically caused by thinning skin and increased visibility of blood vessels. Puffy eyes, on the other hand, involve swelling or a mild inflammation in the delicate skin surrounding the eyes, often due to fluid retention or weakened muscles. These issues can impart a fatigued or aged appearance, prompting individuals to seek treatments diminish their prominence and rejuvenate the eye area. Please keep in mind that it's advisable to have a consultation initially to identify the root cause of the dark circles, as certain treatments may inadvertently exacerbate the concern.

We have several services available to help treat dark circles or puffy eyes. Find out more below to discover which treatment best suits your personal requirements.

Tear Trough Filler

Tear trough fillers involve injecting dermal fillers into the under-eye area to restore volume, smooth the skin, and diminish the appearance of dark circles and hollows. This procedure aims to address volume loss, improve skin texture and hydration. Additionally, it can stimulate collagen production, resulting in long-lasting results that typically last several months to a year or more.

Microneedling

Microneedling helps reduce the appearance of dark eye circles by promoting collagen production. The micro-injuries created during micro-needling stimulate collagen production, which can improve skin texture and thickness. This leads to the skin under the eyes appearing more even and reduces the visibility of dark circles. Micro-needling enhances the absorption of skincare products, allowing targeted treatments for dark circles to penetrate more effectively and show better results.

Botulinum Toxin Type A

Botulinum toxin type A - The rolls that form under your eyes when you laugh or smile are frequently referred to as "under eye jelly rolls." Eyes may appear puffy and tired due to these rolls. We can induce a smoother, less puffy-looking eye by carefully injecting small doses of neurotoxin into the muscles around the eye.

You must book a free consultation with our aesthetic nurse Lisa at least 48hrs before your treatment, as Botulinum toxin type A is prescription only.
