Botulinum toxin injections to treat TMD and Bruxism (teeth grinding). Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) is a condition affecting the movement of the jaw. Signs of TMD include: pain around your jaw, ear and temple clicking, popping or grinding noises when you move your jaw a headache around your temples difficulty opening your mouth fully your jaw locking when you open your mouth The pain may be worse when chewing and when you feel stressed. As the injections are prescription only you must book a free consultation with our nurse prescriber at least 72 hours before treatment, where she will asses your medical history and ensure that you are suitable for this medication. Effects last around 3 -4 months.
