All other appointments will be at our Cinderford clinic. Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy is a cosmetic procedure used to improve the appearance of the skin. It involves using a device containing fine needles to create tiny, controlled punctures or micro-injuries in the skin's surface. The purpose of microneedling is to stimulate the skin's natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that help maintain the skin's structure, elasticity, and overall youthful appearance. Microneedling offers a range of benefits, including reducing acne scars by promoting collagen remodelling, improving wrinkles and fine lines by stimulating collagen production, fading hyperpigmentation for a more even skin tone, minimizing large pores by creating micro-injuries, refining uneven skin texture, and contributing to skin rejuvenation and a youthful appearance. Treatments should be spaced 4 weeks apart.
